Mrs. Heather Gantt-Evans is Marqeta’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), responsible for the cybersecurity of Marqeta’s products and business technology resources. Heather brings 15 years of cybersecurity and risk management expertise. She is known for her ability to clearly define and execute hyper-growth, transformative strategies while maintaining a strong people focus. She also lends her expertise to multiple advisory boards as well as Envision Radiology’s cybersecurity committee, which she chairs. Heather Gantt-Evans most recently served as the CISO at SailPoint, the leading Identity Security software provider, as well as deputy CISO at The Home Depot.
Earlier, Gantt-Evans spent 5 years consulting with Ernst and Young to transform numerous Fortune 100 cybersecurity programs across multiple industry verticals. Here she developed a strong affinity for the Financial and Technology verticals. She is a veteran who served in the U.S. Army Reserves as an all-source threat intelligence analyst. She also supported Air Force Cyber Command as a contractor, focusing on cyber threat intelligence and integration of intelligence into security operations. Heather is based in Austin, TX but enjoys traveling to beaches, mountains, and forests with her husband and three children.
