Fatma Tarlaci is a distinguished engineering leader with a wealth of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As the VP of Engineering at OpenTeams, she possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills that distinguish her in the industry. Prior to joining the industry, she conducted research in natural language understanding. Her unique interdisciplinary background provides her with an exceptional ability to navigate diverse professional environments effectively.
Beyond her full time role, she’s a dedicated mentor in numerous organizations, underscoring her deep-seated commitment to fostering growth in others—a sentiment further echoed in her teaching endeavors. Presently, she holds a position as an adjunct assistant professor of computer science at the University of Texas at Austin.
