Medha Aiyah works at Amazon Web Services as a Solutions Architect supporting Enterprise Greenfield customers. These customers that Medha supports are companies that may be large and well-established, but do not currently use AWS and may use a different cloud provider. It has been exciting to assist these companies from ground up and ignite their cloud journey. She recently graduated from UT Dallas December 2022 with a Masters in Computer Science and a specialization in Intelligent Systems. Her goal is to bridge the gender gap in tech. Medha helped create the STEM MakerSpace with Girl Scouts, helping 1000+ girls have access to hands-on STEM education. Medha was the former President of her college's section, striving to provide more opportunities for women engineers. Medha also co-founded WEHack, the first-ever gender-based hackathon uniting hackers across eight countries around the globe in an inclusive environment. Medha was recognized as a Top 50 Hacker by Major League Hacking for her contributions to empowering women. Medha is also the director of the YouthTech program which is a two day boot camp grassroots initiative under the under the Women at AWS Employee Resource Group aimed at building the next generation of diverse technology talent, by offering skill-building and enablement programs to students in universities and community colleges across the nation. Medha has also spoken at several venues all over US such as the Tapia 2022 Conference in Washington DC, WE 22 conference in Houston, Texas, WE Local 23 Detroit, WE Local 23 Seattle, and the WE23 Conference in Los Angeles, California.
