Ann Villegas embarked on her professional journey as a hardware engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation following her graduation with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Houston. Over the course of her 23-year career, she has consistently focused on exploring new technologies for PC hardware. Additionally, she has honed her leadership skills by overseeing diverse teams such as PCB design, hardware innovation, and most recently, a multi-disciplinary technical team comprising over 150 architects and engineers. Throughout her tenure at HP, Ann has acquired invaluable insights into resilient and empathetic leadership, which she generously imparts through mentoring and coaching opportunities both within and outside of the company. A native of Houston, Ann is happily married and has an 11-year-old son.
